I just have to say My boy is soooo smart

So...In our new apartment our bathroom is set up where you go in the door and right in front of you on the other side of the bathroom is the toilet....

It is a straight line...However the door is far out of arms reach........

Now sometimes ya have to go to the bathroom....and you forget such frivilous things as locking the door........

Well anytime the door is unlocked Emmet busts his way in, leaving the person on the toilet exposed to anyone walking down the hallway....

Well I have this bamboo stick next to our toilet for that reason....so that when Emmet busts in the stick can be used to close the door safetly without leaving the throne.....

In anycase I was just in there and who comes barging in but Emmet....So i go to reach for the stick.....However when I glanced at Emmet I saw him do the sweetest thing.......

My sweetie closed the door behind him...........

What a smart boy!

My boys won't allow me to close the door behind me!! If I do, Frantic is howling and Pip is sticking his paw underneath trying to pry the door open! Thank goodness its just me and S/O in the house.

Yeah if there is ever a time where I do lock the door....Emmet is howling outside......such a silly kit

Now that IS a smart kitty!

I saw a video a few years ago and I think it was on a TV show too of a cat that would jump up and grab the door handle('round' if I remember correctly?), turn it, drop down, and then open the closed door!!!

wow haha that's both smart and cute!

mochi always tries his hardest to come into my bedroom when i am napping ... yesterday he jumped up and pulled on the handle, and let him and his friend emma in, waking me up from the nap.
