I love weekends! I cleaned the house and cleaned out the canary cage and did three loads of laundry and made homemade soup. I love it when I get everything under control - it feels so good, even if it doesn't last very long.

I had to work Sunday night though. Until 11 p.m., and now I'm tired and sleep-deprived. Plus one of my coworkers is bugging me to take his next weekend shift. I was supposed to work Friday night but the boss pulled me off because of another assignment, so this other guy was asked to fill in just for one night. This coworker now apparently thinks I owe him an entire weekend, and he's pressuring me. I'm perfectly happy to do a Friday night in exchange, but at that point we're even steven as far as I'm concerned.

I hate people who are scorekeepers.
Aargh, Mondays!

Well, I really love weekends and really dislike Mondays. Saturday was nerve-wracking because Tripod had to go to the vet, but Sunday was nice. It was beautiful out and we had a cookout.

Now back to Monday. I'm wondering if there is something wrong with me. Mondays just plain depress me. I get separation anxiety from my DF and our cats. I don't mind my job, but I have had butterflies all day because I'm away from my family. Tuesdays are a little better, and so on for the rest of the week. Does anyone else get this or is there something wrong with me?

My weekend was restful. And here we are...in another insane, crazy-busy week full of "hoop-jumping" as I like to call it. I'm sooooooo glad that I'll be done with gen ed next quarter and can FINALLY just concentrate on my music without having to worry about...math.

We vegged and watched movies. The Escapist, The Hunt for Eagle One, The USS Posiedon Phantom Below and Two for The Money. All on DVD the best one was Two for the Money- the others were average.

I agree completely. I hate getting up out of bed. I hate going to work and having to deal with all the problems there. I hate knowing that I have another four days before the weekend again.

We were busy busy busy!

Saturday - We were at the vet by 8:00am, came home and packed up and delivered the last of my son's things to his new apartment. Bought a new mattress set for our new guest room (son's old room). Went back to the vet and picked up the dog (teeth cleaning and 4 teeth pulled). Came home and set up the new bed and guest room!!!

Sunday - Cleaned house, went antiquing - didn't buy anything, then went out for pizza.

Friday night Boogs ended up with a very yucky looking eye, was good timing since we had to take the dog in Saturday morning. There went $300

I love antiquing. I need to find some old pairs of boxing gloves but still in good shape for my sports room. They will be perfect in there.

Find out what was wrong with Boogs' eye?

i had such a good weekend I'm so sad to be back at work
We went to see Phantom of the Opera on stage on saturday afternoon (for the matinee) then went shopping and then to a nice dinner. The next day was the Steelers game and my bf's mom had a party and we rooted our little hearts out and they won!

I'm exhausted today though and can't focus at all.

I feel EXACTLY like this. I hate it, I feel like I'm missing out. I think if I feel like this I should just be allowed to go home but it's never gonna happen

I hate Monday's so much.

Anyways.. my weekend went by too fast. I took my grandpa out for his birthday on Saturday, and then I bought a new cage for the hamsters, because I needed to separate them. After that, I was lazy the rest of the day. Yesterday a few people came over to watch the football game, so I just stayed in my room most of the day doing homework, playing Disgaea, and talking on the phone (with my sweetie
). Some stupid lady called my cell phone at midnight last night, which made me mad.. and I didn't sleep all that great afterwards. I had school today, which was really dumb. I'm glad I'm close to being out.

Well, yes and no. I swear, I should take a tape recorder in the vet with me. It always seems like I totally understand what they are saying until the moment I walk out the door. Anyway, she mentioned herpes, and then she mentioned something else. They did a dye test to see if her cornea was scratched (it wasn't), but the normally white eyelid is red and it's runny (not clear). She gave me some ointment to put in twice a day for 10 days, then something to give her by mouth twice a day for 30 days!!! I'm going to call and see if that's a typo. I've never experienced giving anything for 30 days.

We love antiquing too, but I was very discouraged this time - we were looking for a lamp and a night stand - I couldn't find anything under $200 (night stand or lamp)

HAHAHAHA. If you said that in NZ or Australia, they would say no wonder you are so tired. That sounds so dirty!

As for me, it is Tuesday today. My monday was my day off work and I spent most of it cleaning my bedroom, and rearranging it. I feel so much better but I was so exhausted. I am trying to get ready for hubby's arrival in May and there is so much to do!

I had a pretty good weekend! The weather was beautiful, so on Saturday I was able to spend alot of TLC on my plants outside & get some laundry done.
Sunday was the Steelers game, they won their ticket to Detroit, so I'm pretty happy about that!

Monday wasn't so bad, I didn't have to put up with a shop full of guys picking on me about a Steelers loss, the workload was light, no stress!

My weekend was somewhat uneventful. We had a houseguest who, to be honest, I was glad to see go! We were friends as kids and stayed in touch, when he said he was coming through Chicago I felt the need to offer our guest room...and then basically felt like I was babysitting him all weekend. Oy.

Then, my first meeting this morning FORGOT that we were meeting, then my second meeting of the day CANCELLED on us, so we moved our 4 o clock staff meeting up and I got to leave around 3:30. My boss was hungover, my only other full-time coworker is sick, and it was just a lame, lame day.

But, my husband and I both have tomorrow off so we're going out with friends tonight!!! A little vodka should soothe the savage beast.

Well, Sat was okay. My hubby, aunt and I went fabric shopping for curtains and then out for lunch. We were trying to find a kitty trim for the fabric and were not successful. Sun we drove almost 2 hours one way to visit my parents. I was cranky and so was hubby. We did have a nice dinner with them, and my met my mom's new dog, Bunny, a mini aussie shepherd. Hubby and I had a fight last night about being bored, basically. He has been out work for awhile. Today it snowed and it was a pain to get to work. I forgot my lunch and couldn't find my purse. My volunteer didn't come due to the weather, and it was busy, busy like every monday. I spent most of the afternoon faxing paperwork. The good news is that hubby almost def has a job that starts in 3 weeks! Yay. Except my house won't be cleaned anymore. Now I have a nice purry orange 6 mo kitty in my lap, so my troubles are melting away.
