After 3 months since Dylan passed away, I finally decided to get another cat.

Went down to the cat home this morning and chose this one after over an hour of looking. She was called Angel by the previous owner, but I don't know if I'll keep that name.

I'm going back on Wednesday to pick her up - she needs to get desexed first on Tuesday.

Does anyone have a suggestion for a name?

Hi, Lichen!

Personally she looks like a little Angel. She is absolutely precious!! How old is she??

I am so sorry about the loss of your former baby. I lost my 20-year-old cat 4 months ago and still cry for him almost daily. But, like you, I adopted another and have fallen in love with her too!

Let us know what you decide upon!

Czari (who still needs to figure out a signature.

Thanks Czari.

She's 18 months old, but looks like she's about 6 months old (the pictures don't really do justice). She was there with her 4 year old sister who was even smaller. I wanted to get them both, but that's not really possible.

I've still got my old cat as the wallpaper on my mobile phone and I'm not planning on getting rid of it any time soon.

It's so hard to choose from them all at the cat home. There were about 10 that I couldn't decide between, but when Angel came up and jumped on my lap and rolled on her back, I made up my mind.

Isn't it amazing how cats "choose us?"

I know what you mean about difficulty choosing. I want to take them ALL home. I have a thread called "How I became a cat lover" to which I will be posting the remainder of the story. I only mention it because my first cat chose me.

Enjoy your little one!!

I agree with everyone else -- she is absolutely gorgeous and "Angel" seems to fit her. She has been an Angel from heaven sent to you!

She truly is beautiful! I was surprised when you said that she was 18 mo old though...she certainly does have a kittenish look to her.
As far as a name goes....why hurry? Once you get to see her personality in the next couple of weeks...her name will just come to you .

what a sweet-faced kitty! if she's been called Angel for very long, you'll want to find a name w/a similar vowel sound. that'll make it easier for her to learn
congratulations!
