Before I retire for the night, I just had to share this with my fellow cat lovers.

My husband gave Bijou and Mika a half of a 5.5 oz. can of Merricks Cowboy Cookout earlier and just set the lid back in the can and left it by the kitchen sink. I didn't really notice since there was also an empty can there waiting to go out to the recycle bin. Anyway, I was sitting in the living room watching Grey's Anatomy when Bijou came in with the can held in his teeth and dropped it beside my foot, right side up.

We are still laughing about it. Apparently he wanted more food and let us know. We are still stumped how he got it off the counter and carried it into the living room without upsetting the can.

Just thought I'd share a chuckle!

It was even funnier to see John's reaction. John is so smitten with this cat that Jennifer and I can barely believe our eyes.
As soon as I told him what Bijou had done, he picked Bijou up and was cuddling him and telling the cat what a good kitty he was and then he cuddled me and told me he was so glad I had seen the ad in the paper that got us Bijou.

You have such polite cats ... mine figure if they find it and can break into it, it's theirs.

I think if he could have lifted the lid out he would not have been so polite!

He pretty much gets anything he wants - he is totally spoiled but still a gentle and loving boy.

He and Mika have totally enriched our lives to an unbelievable extent as I'm sure Tia has enriched yours. There is no doubt our breeder has exceptional cats IMHO.

I TOTALLY agree, but then I have Tia and couldn't love her more. Lucky, lucky us.
