There's dead fish in our pasture

It's the strangest thing to see, but the pasture is dotted with dead fish. I think they are blue gill- the creek has receded now, but I guess it left behind some souvenirs. The only one impressed is China and maybe the beavers-

Aw, poor little fish. But, at least something will have some winter dinner!

Exactly what I was thinking

Since I have been living in the country, it amazes me sometimes just how brutal life is! Sorry for the fish (although I don't like them either as food or as pets! LOL!), and sorry for you having that left behind in your pasture. I guess the pasture had a good soaking, and will be ready to grow come spring!

Poor fishies...but I guess it's just nature.

I was thinking good fertilizer too but will be smelly!!!

I can just imagine the beavers waddling over and having a smorgasbord!

i thought most, but have to admit that the first thing to mind was the stench.
