hmm well im pretty sure a vet would be willing to help if anything happened during birth, but after birth, kitten food and whatnot is really cheap here, just gotta wait and see, not good to keep thinking bad things r gonna happen, must be optimisticOriginally Posted by jennyranson
just remember that if you have kittens (maybe even 6 or 8 per cat), YOU have to pay for them to be fed for 12 weeks, and for all their litter, as well as at least for first shots, maybe even for spaying and neutering them as some people won't take htemm till htey are fixed. That is all a lot more expensive than one spay now. And all that assumes there are no medical problems with the pregnancy and birth - and as many here can tell you, it is not uncommon. What happens if your cat starts to have kittens, has a problem and you can't afford an emergency vet then? You might lose both your cat and her kittens.
