yes, probably she is pregnant.

Question: If you want her to give birth: prepare for it. Do read about.

If you dont want to give birth: to the veterinary ASAP, let him spay her with all the inhold. It isnt so difficult if vet is prepared.

Channy, at 9 months old, your kitten is really too young to become pregnant and give birth. As sad as it is, please give consideration to having her spayed and perhaps ask the vet not to tell you if she was pregnant.

If you have decided to let the pregnancy continue, please visit this web site about feline pregnancy and delivery: http://www.cat-pregnancy-report.com/...pregnancy.html and this pregnancy calendar: http://www.purrinlot.com/preg.htm.

She most likely is pregnant. It could be unhealthy and life threatening for her to give birth at such a young age. I agree with others, you should spay her right away before she gets too far along. If you don't want to know, tell the vet, just say you want her spayed, there is a changce she could be pregnant but you do not want to know about it, whether she is or isn't. Just spay her please!

Please consider having both cats spayed and Freddie neutered now or you will soon be completely overrun with kittens!
ya she might of been preggy, but she went back into heat a few weeks after that little scare

What if this cat is pregnant? If you cannot afford to fix the ones you have, how are you going to fix all those kittens and get them their shots and everything?

What if your poor female, who shouldn't have babies that young in the first place, has a problem and requires emergency vet care? That is going to cost a ton of money. If she needs the emergency vet care, the cost of that AND to alter and vaccinate and worm the kittens and then still spay the mother on top of that is going to really put you in debt. Can't you pay with a credit card? or borrow the money? or look for a low cost clinic?

And do you have the females in a completely different room then the male? At ALL times?

pepole saying that they want something and actually taking it when it comes around are two different things. two possible litters of kittens are far harder to place than you might want to believe.

Channy....may I recommend that you talk to a local rescue group to see if they would be willing to fund the spay. The vet may even be willing to give you a deep discount or spay her for free. Definately take your male cat to be neutered.

There may be people who want kittens...but I'm sure they could find them at the local shelter...in a few months it will be kitten season. It shouldn't be about supplying people with kittens..it should be about what is best for the cat and I'm concerned you won't be able to afford it if she has any difficulties.

hm i dunno, havnt thought bout those things, wells im guessing if there was anything seriousley wrong with suki if she is pregnant my mom would pay with her credit card jus have to wait and see . freddie is in a different room when there in heat, he has no interest in them when there out of heat. only for playing and cuddling when there out of heat.

there arnt any rescue groups here, there all in the city, and they dont accept cats from here, sadly alot of cats in the city are being placed in humane soceitys and whatnot, so no help for us out in the small towns, we have alot of people around here that would gladly take a kitten.

Channy....just as long as you realize that YOU are ultimately responsible for every life your cats bring into this world. Additionally, you need to keep both females INSIDE until you have had them vet checked and verify whether they are indeed pregnant (that means you need to keep them from getting out even accidentally!!) Also, you will need to plan to have both spayed once the kittens are weaned if they are pregnant and if they aren't...they need to be spayed ASAP.

I just want to make sure you are aware that males who are mature are interested in females all the time, not just when they are in heat. Males could care less if the female is in heat at the time or not. If he is interested, he will go for it not matter what. She doesn't have to be in heat in order to get pregnant either, females can get pregnant at any time.

just remember that if you have kittens (maybe even 6 or 8 per cat), YOU have to pay for them to be fed for 12 weeks, and for all their litter, as well as at least for first shots, maybe even for spaying and neutering them as some people won't take htemm till htey are fixed. That is all a lot more expensive than one spay now. And all that assumes there are no medical problems with the pregnancy and birth - and as many here can tell you, it is not uncommon. What happens if your cat starts to have kittens, has a problem and you can't afford an emergency vet then? You might lose both your cat and her kittens.

My youngest, Marnie, was pregnant for the second time (at barely 8 months old!) when I rescued her. She had lost all the kittens in the earlier litter because she was so scrawny and starved. She had five kittens in her when I had her spayed. It made me feel lousy as a human being, but I was glad to have saved five kittens from an uncertain future.

My vet worked with me and I am paying off the balance from getting her cared for. I'm sure yours would do the same. I really hope you get all your cats fixed.

i know that, but my freddie is pretty odd, he is only interested in playing with the girls, and trying to look cute for jasmine..
