Cat is acting strange since brother went to school.

Well, my brother went to school 1 week ago. He took 1 term off of school and was home for the mostpart all day. Since he has went to school, he dorms away. My cat has been acting strange. Has been mopeing around, biting and scratching my mother, she spends alot more time in my room now, she is on my mouse pad at this time of posting witch she has never done ntill 2-3 days ago. Is this normal? Will she return to normal? And why is the biteing and scratching me and my mother more often?

Cats are people to, so it could just be that the cat is missing your brother and is taking out her feelings on you. It could be that your brother played with her more than you or your mom do, and now she's bored. It could also be an illness. By "moping", do you mean she doesn't seem to have much energy? If that's the case, you might want to take the kitty to the vet to have her checked.
