Are you ready for some football?

Is anyone else on the board as obsessed with football as I am?
What is your favorite team, & is there a special reason why?
Is your team in the final round of the playoffs tomorrow?
Tomorrow the Steelers go up against the Broncos for a trip to SuperBowl "Extra Large", & I am getting so wound up about it. Tomorrow I will be a nervous wreck!

I do love football, but since the Packers did so crappy this year, I haven't been into it. My second favorite (slowly becoming my first, thanks to crappy Packer playing) team are the Indianapolis Colts. When I first started watching football with my husband years ago, he always had a second favorite team, Arizona. So, I randomly picked the Colts, as a joke, for my second favorite, because they were "little baby horses." But, over the years, I have rooted for them and they have become an awesome team! So, when they lost the playoff game I was very disppointed. I had hoped they would go to the superbowl this year. Oh well, maybe next year, for both my teams!

I'm an all American Male so it is in my blood that I watch football. I'm a member of the Raider Nation.

The Raiders have not done well since going to the Super Bowl and getting whooped a couple of years ago.

Never the less I'm finding myself fascinated by the Steelers. I'd like to see them go all the way this time around. That was a great game against Indianopolis last week and they won even though the ref tried to give the game away.

Well, I don't really care too much for football except for at family gatherings, when all the men gather around the tv But I do know I like the commercials during the Superbowl!!

Yep, I am the sad girl who hangs out with the boys on Sundays while all their other GF's go shopping.

The Vikings despite their late come back didn't make it and the Bucs (BF's team) didn't get very far, but we will be watching anyway.

Well, since we have a good chance to go to the Bowl that's super........GO SEAHAWKS!

I LOVE my Steelers! I was raised a Steelers fan by both sets of grandparents. My parents are Browns fans Trav is also a Stillers fan but he's from PA so he has a good reason.....

I think we have a good chance of winning BUT it will be a VERY VERY good game......

Having lived in Colorado for as long as I can remember, I'm most definitely a Broncos fan. Have been for as long as I can remember. (My first real football memory is the 1977 Superbowl, Broncos vs. Cowboys where we got beat badly. I was 4 years old and sat through the whole game!) The Broncos have been seriously under-rated this whole year, but we're pretty used to that by now. Broncos never get any respect - we're kinda like Rodney Dangerfield in the NFL.

But we are 8-2 against the Steelers in the playoffs, with home field advantage, and not over-hyped. I think we've got a really good chance to get to the Big Game! But I also think it's going to be a very closely fought game tomorrow.

Sadly though, My Dear Sweet COLTS didnt make it. They did so great! (GrVanderjagtGrumbleKickerGr) But I guess now just wasnt our time. *Sigh* Soon though! I just know it!

Season Ticket holder for the Miami Dolphins!!! My boys did good this year, they went 9-7.

I haven't been, but I do love sports and since the Seahawks have been doing well this year, have really enjoyed watching their games.

I so hope we crush the Carolina Panthers tomorrow!!

Patriots fan here! They were COMPLETELY humiliated by the Broncos last week though I am sure the game will be on today.

Given me College Football over the pros any day. I hate all the excessive celebration in the pros... that's why I really don't watch them.

Just under 2 hours to go, I have to get away from the TV game talk for awhile-you wouldn't believe how wound up I'm getting!
It's good to see another Steelers fan on the board-my fiancee & his family are all Browns fans too, it makes for some interesting holidays.
I hope they make it this year, they are a class act & haven't gotten much respect, either. Last week the media was laughing about their chances of beating the Colts & look what happened.
At least these 2 teams are finally getting some respect, I'm hoping for a battle!

I KNOW! They are always the underdogs and end up coming out on top. This is going to be a GREAT game and I am so P-U-M-P-E-D!!!!!!!!!

The game isn't officially over yet, but realistically it is.

Congratulations to the Steelers. Your offense just destroyed our defense, and the turnovers didn't help us any either. But you just outplayed us and deserve the Super Bowl. I'm glad Bettis will finally get the chance to get a ring.

I didn't relax till the game was in the final 2 minutes! After seeing what happened last week, I didn't want them to relax & let the lead go.
Wow. What a season. I'm still in shock. Big Ben is the man!
The next game is on, we'll see who our opponents are come Feb.5th!
