My friend (and co-worker of 6 years) Joyce recently had trouble with her foot. It progressed to where she had surgery done to open up a blockage in her foot. The surgery was not a success, and today she went to surgery for a below the knee amputation. They also found some cardiac blockages which will need to be corrected after she recovers from the amputation. She is a cat lover who cannot currently have a kitty due to living 1/2 the time at her daughter's home, and 1/2 the time in her own home. In the past, she had kitties who lived until their late teen years. She always loves to hear about my foster kitties.

Another friend Robyn, also a co-worker, is pregnant with her first child. She learned that the baby has a serious congenital defect. And now there is concern that he will be born early. She spent several days in the hospital, but was sent home today. She is the meowmie to two cats, found filthy and covered with oil, who she saved. One is named Jack, and I cannot think of the other guys name. In fact, she was planning to adopt a kitty from one of my foster litters, when instead she learned aboout the other kittens!

Please pray for Joyce, Robyn, and Robyn's unborn baby son. Both for health and for peace of mind for all concerned. I know there are many faiths and beliefs represented here at TCS, and ask for each to lift up Joyce, Robyn, and the baby in their own way. Thank you so much.

Becky, my prayers go out to both of your friends, and your friend's child.
I hope that the congenital birth defect is not too serious.

Becky, lots of strong, good, best vibes coming at you and them all. You are one of the most loving and caring people around here. You're in the blue room all the time, comforting others who have lost beloveds, the least I can do is send
your way!

What a shame for both of them.
I hope things turn around for them both very soon.
