Has anyone heard of these? Or tried them?

I bought one for Phenom at Wal-Mart yesterday. Its pink with green eyes and makes noise "na na na na na chirp chirp chirp chirp chirp" and rolls around on the floor in circles.

First she looked at me as if i was crazy until i showed her how to use it. Then she stared at the tow and sniffed it. Finally She batted it and made it move and ran off. We went into another room and she cried until we talked to her and hissed at the toy. Now she will run as fast as she can past it and hit it and make it go off.

If she doesnt like it iwill give it to my mom's dog, he will play with it until its broken into a million pieces and we have to throw it away!

How funny that you mention those - I looked @ them last night @ Pet Smart - I was wondering if Harley would like it or not? I thought it looked fun anyways!

I got that toy for Ivo and it scared the living daylights out of her. Plus, I found it to be exceedingly loud. Oh well, you don't know until you try.

I think it is more fun for me than it is her. And it IS really loud and if you have carpet dont bother it doesnt roll well on carpet.

We have a small patch of tile on our kitchen floor - I think Harley might be afraid of it - he doesnt do well with loud noises. Maybe I'll get it for myself!

Yeah, my friend got one for her cats and it was, IMO, loud and obnoxious. I couldn't see a cat wanting to play with it.

I bought the Target version of one of those for Lily. It is quite annoying, but hey, she likes it! I do catch the dogs swatting at it when they think no one is looking. All in all, it is fun for both dogs & cats!

I let Lily get used to it & sniff it up real good before I turned it on. Then when I turned it on she knew it wasn't scary!

My friend's cats have one. They are scared of it, too. I just don't think its movement is one that perks up a cat's hunting instincts.

Same here, I got one of those for Snowball a few years ago, and he just sniffed at it and then ignored it.

I got one of those mice a while ago for Kitty, he ran away scared everytime I activated it. Then it rolled under my dresser, it stayed there for six months until I moved, then it got thrown away. I think it was just too loud for him, it wasn't so much the motions, just the noise that he didn't like.
