Shopping Trip - YAY!

So last night I went to La Crosse with one of my friends to return some stuff for my computer that I didn't need - I ended up getting a $150 credit to my Credit Card - WOO HOO! I was only expecting about $50

So we decided to go to the mall and I wanted to stop in at Victorias Secret - not knowing they were having a MASSIVE sale. In the back of their store - some of their shirts, pants, and under garments were 60% off - so I found a shirt I had my eye on that was originally $30, and it was marked as $10, so I figured okay, good deal! I get up to pay - it was only $5!!! Everything was an additional 50% on top of the 60% off!

So then, I wanted to stop in at American Eagle - I had my eye on 3 shirts there that were each over $25, I got the one I really wanted - for only $10! I found John a sweatshirt that had been (get this) $65 - for only $14.95!

I have never found such good sales like this before!

So after saving so much money - I went to PetSmart to get Harley some litter - it was on sale for a 5lb bag for $3.99 - I even got him some balls to play with for .50 cents each!

After that - I decided to quit while I was ahead!

I just had to share cuz I am still super excited about my really good finds!

those are some great deals!!, I bet the Victoria Secret store is really nice. (we don't have any in Canada that I know of).

Oh VS is my guilty pleasure! Their clothes are SO comfortable and so are their lounge pants! Have you ever shopped there online?

Their store is really great - and I think its so cute, the whole store is pink - I love it!

I have "window shopped" there online but I've never purchased anything...I was thinking of getting some of my wedding night attire there though!

Oh yeah, they have such cute stuff - now would be a good time to get something since everything is on clearance - I bet you could find some super cute stuff!

I am getting my swimsuits from there this year - I wish they had a Victorias Secret Annonymous - I'd be the President for sure!

I also have to share in the shopping deals. I went up to New York & Company yesterday to pay my bill and noticed they're having their winter sale. So I headed upstairs and perused their clearance section. I found ONE size 12 black wool knee-length trench coat. I have been eyeing those things every year since moving to Chicago. It's originally 129 bucks. The sign above the rack said 40% off... I contemplated it and finally told myself I wouldn't be able to find a better deal. i took it back downstairs and had it rung up. It was 60% off, not 40%... YEAH BABY! So it came to 55 bucks. For a wool trench. Oh baby. I'm in hog heaven.

So, yeah, I hear ya on the deals... this is sooooo THE time to shop.

YAY for you for getting SUCH a good sale!!

I really want to go back up there tonight again (I know I shouldnt) but they are having their huge sidewalk sale in the mall - and everything is going to be even more on sale - I need to tell myself NO!

I try to tell DH this is the time to shop (yes even though Christmas was less than a month ago!) because of the good prices. I went to Tuesday Morning and picked up a bunch of those cute christmas gift bags-they were less than $1 each!! Its so great to find a article of clothing you had been hoping to go on sale and still be your size. I ordered this turquoise loafer/mules from JJil I think they were orginially $68 but on sale for $25!!
I'm just trying to stay away from the mall!!

Sounds like you've gotten some good sales - I saw those cute christmas bags on sale too for less than $1, they are so cute!

I need to stay away too! That sweatshirt I got John was too small Oh well - I will just have to go back, And now, I guess I have myself a new sweatshirt anyways!
