Movin' on up!
This week, mucky-mucks from corporate have been on-site, checking out our operation. We've been performing above expectations, despite all of the problems with our computer system.

Yesterday, they had lunch catered, from a good Mexican restaurant AND had drawings for some nice prizes: stereos, digital cameras, printers, etc. I won an IPod Shuffle! An MP3 player has been on my "gonna buy" list, for a while (I've been waiting until after I get into a new house). Now, I don't have to buy one.

It looks as though I'll be spending part of this weekend, learning how to operate this thing. Not being too tech-savvy, I hope it isn't TOO complicated.

Now that I'm on a winning streak, I'm hoping my Powerball ticket will be winner.

Since I've been taking line dance classes, I've wanted an MP3 player, so that I can practice at home. The only place that I can dance is in the kitchen and I don't have anything to play music on in there. With this little goodie, I can clip it to my belt, plug in the earbuds, dance away and hope I don't trip over cats

Great! Good for you!
CONGRATULATIONS!
I won something once. It was from a Pepsi contest. It was a clock with a round face like the Papsi logo and was on a stand. That was at least 35 years ago...and I think I sold it at a garage sale. (DUMMY!) It would probably be worth something now...and my step Dad has a whole room full of pepsi stuff (He`s quite the collector) I could have given it to him....and he`d have LOVED it....but he was`nt in my life at that time, so how would I have known?

Congrats! Very nice prize... I'm like you and completely tech un-savvy so hopefully it won't be too complicated

Congratulations! I have an iPod Mini and I LOVE it. I carry it with me everywhere I go.
If you need any help getting it all set up, I will be glad to help.

That's a great prize, Cindy. I don't listen to music, but I think IPods and the like are a terrific invention. When I think back on how everybody thought the Walkman was so revolutionary, and compare it to today's products, I have to wonder what will be available in ten years' time.

On the west side of... of... somewhere.
i have a Shuffle and it's easy to use. Very easy. the initial setup, if you don't already have iTunes and a boatload of music in iTunes, is a little time consuming, but well worth it.

No batteries, it charges when you plug into the USB port on the computer. That's also when it updates any changes made to your song list. if you want any tips, just let me know. I've had mine a year and LOVE that thing so much I want a second one: one to stay at home and one for going out.

There are few settings on the Shuffle itself. You have two play options: straight play and shuffle, so it goes in random order. I usually just go to Random... it's so not predictable. Then on the front you have volume and skipping tracks forward and backward. REALLY basic player. But it's small and really light, as you've noticed.

Just PM me if you have any issues with installation. I had to look up a few tricks myself, and I'm a computer geek.

Thanks for the offer of help. I've been getting better - figured out my new digital camera (only took me two weeks). I'm too tired to mess with it, tonight (its ben a rough week) but, by Sunday I should be relaxed enough to play with it.

I have the iPod Mini, and I love it! It is neat to shuffle your songs because it's like listening to a radio station that only plays stuff you like!
