Ok people, I really want you to work the board magic for me this time - our "addition-to-be" Cindy has gone missing
She had been homed with a couple who didn't seem to be getting along too well with her, or they couldn't keep her or soemthing - well they came back to my bf's aunt and asked if she would be able to take her back and find her a better home. She said she would if she could. At least this is as far as I'm aware. Anyway, we decided that we would take her after all - and now aunty has just been in touch to say that she doesn't know where Cindy is. The couple say that she'd been homed with another family already - but nobody knows where. Either they didn't know where she is, or they didn't wat to say where she is, but aunty is concerned that they might have just had her put to sleep instead. So please please can I have some prayers that she'll be found safe and sound?

That's horrible!
I completely panic, if one of my bunch slips away for 10 minutes. Come back soon, Cindy.

Prayers that your aunt can find out what happened to poor Cindy, and help her out. Poor little kitty...

Prayers for CIndy, Emma. Any updates after tonight??? It could very well be they re-homes her and just didn't get much data on the new people. It does happen that way, unfortunately.

Ok folks, here's a little update now that I'm back in snowy denmark (yik)

Apparently aunty and this couple had a very clear agreement that if they couldn't keep her any more, they were to return her straight back to aunty. Aunty couldn't take her back immediately and asked for a couple of days just to make sure that she could put everything in place for Cindy coming back, which she was granted. She went to collect her, to be told at the door that they no longer had her, and she had been homed with a new family. They refused to tell her where the cat had gone. It seems that they "didn't know". In Denmark, you HAVE to know where the cat is going, because every cat is on a national register with all their details, the ear tattoo number and even a description of them. Cindy is pedigreed Burmese, so there is no way she wouldn't be on that list. I'm going to be checking up on the national register, because if she has been put to sleep, I believe that detail has to be put on there too... Aunty is absolutely furious, her sister (my MIL) is sick with worry, Rune is downright seething and I'm not too far behind.

I'm going to check up on the lists this morning - we're doing everything we can to try and find her.
