Gucchi is gone

My daughter called me this evening. Her cat, Gucchi, was hit by a car earlier today. The injuries were such that there was no choice what to do. Her vet came out to the house and put the cat to sleep. He was a sweetheart of a cat and I am so sorry his death was so traumatic. The vet had some trouble and the cat had a seizure. Anyway prayers for my daughter please. Rest in peace dear Gucchi. You are loved and missed by your family. The only good thing is the vet was able to convince her to neuter her other cat. I had tried to convince her Thanksgiving when I saw her cats.

Thank you for the love and condolences expressed. It was truly heartbreaking. Her other cat, BeBop is crying and looking for Gucchi. I tried to get her to give me BeBop, but didn't have any success. She has finally agreed to neuter him. I have to bite my tongue, but I had tried at Thanksgiving to tell her that male un-neutered male cats running around the neighborhood is not a good thing. Then she would tell me get off my band-box and stop preaching. But the vet got her convinced when she went out to my daugher's house to put the cat to sleep. Sometimes people have to learn the hard way, even when it is our children.
