recently my kitten suki has become less affectionate.. usually she loves when i pet her and hold her and whatnot, but now she walks away whenever i pet her. she still comes up to me or jumps on my lap and meows in her attention wanting way, but then she runs off to a different room, any ideas why?

I wouldn't worry, my Rosies can be like that.
She likes to be petted on HER terms, but sometimes if i just walk over to her when she's walking and stroke her she'll dip her back down as if to say " Don't touch me!!!"

However, if she is showing other behavioral changes, then I would consider getting her checked by a vet!
