Look what happened today!!

I'm so excited! It's only been 2 1/2 weeks since we got Ed (our poodle). Our three cats had never been around a dog before, so I'm thrilled that things have gone so smoothly




Ed is such has such a good nature. Tonight while he was eating, Boogs decided she had to put her face right under his, then smell inside his ear, then touch his legs with her paw. He didn't even budge. I would have had a headless kitty if she would have done that with our past dog.

Sounds like maybe your kitties like the new pooch. Are you sure they know he's a dog?

haha, I'm not totally sure. I really think they think he is a toy. When I play fetch with him, Gracie hides, then runs out and jumps at/on him as he runs back to me. Boogs either chases him when he goes out after the ball, or as he returns. So I can entertain/exercise them all at the same time.

Awww that is so lovely. Looks like Ed makes one big fluffy pillow for the cats! I'm glad that they're getting along so well.

This new forum has me all fired up and hopeful about getting a dog now - I thought I wouldn't be able to with the cats.
