Whiskers has been spotted!

Several weeks I posted a thread asking for vibes for Whiskers, a declawed cat who got out sometime around Thanksgiving. My coworker was telling me that she spotted him around the back porch of her house this past weekend! He ran into the woods when she went out. Her other cat has been going crazy with strange meows for the past few weeks - perhaps this is related. How hard is it to get a cat to come back in after being out like that?

I'm no expert, but he/she may have "gone feral". I would use food, at the
edge of the woods, when you see the cat. Take it up if the cat doesn't eat
it by darkness (8 pm say). Put it back out in the am early. Gradually
move towards the house. Also get the owner to give you a scented
shirt or clothing article to put by the food = cat owner smell plus food =
memories of being owned. Hissy and others can probably give you other
good ideas!
