Hi... I have had so many posts with my Roxxie. At first I thought it was a health issue... but now I truely believe it is a behavioral issue with her. She has got a clean bill of health from 2 vets.... but she still doesn't use her litterbox all the time. She does use it... .but from time to time she will wet on the floor or more aggravating... the bed!!!!! Any suggestions??????????

Have you cleaned the spots thoroughly were she urinated. You need to disguise or remove the odour of her urine or she'll keep going back to that spot.

You may want to think about getting a new litter box (she may have some bad memory associated with peeing in the other one...i.e. UTI). And maybe consider moving the new box to a new, quiet spot and see what happens.

I can't remember from your other thread, so I'm just going to post the usual suggestions, and you can ignore the ones you're already heard/tried.

Its often recommended that you confine the cat to a room with only the litterbox/food/water, or a large cage if you can manage it, to retrain kitty into using the box. You might also try Cat Attract litter, which is supposed to help with cats who have stopped using the box. Definately get new litter boxes, and maybe several different types of litter to see if its a preference issue. Best of luck, I know its frustrating!

Try a covered litter box in a spare room or bathroom. or a bigger box or different litter.
