Stray cats in Lebanon

I was surprised how most the ferrel cats were healthy. Although they didn't have homes they all seemed to be well fed and generally healthy! In the downtown area I saw a mother with her kittens and they all looked quite rounded, as in no bones sticking out. I asked our waiter and he said that all the resturants in th area regularly feed the cats. I was really happy to hear that!

Anyway here are two pictures of a cat I saw in the American University of Beirut:



Poor thing had part of her ear bitten off but I guess that's to be expected.

I have some more my sister has to send me so I'll add them then.

Actually, a lot of feral cat groups will surgically remove the ear tips of cats they have speutered as a way to tell who has been sterilized. That may also explain the health of the kitties you saw, if there were active cat welfare groups working with the ferals.

I'm glad the restaraunt feeds them regularly. They are very lucky feral cats - I'm so happy to hear that the cats around there are doing okay! That cat is very pretty.

She's very cute! And obviously very loving!

She was such a friendly cat I guess because she lives in a huge campus with lots of people to interact with.

By the nipped ear, something tells me they fix their strays too. Wow!
