These are some pictures from my vacation to Lebanon, they are of a area called Faraya in the mountains. A lot of people (inluding my siblings) going sking their in the winter, its just beautiful.

I had no idea that they had area's in Lebanon where it snows. I guess I thought it was all a parched desert over there.

Hahah no worries Hopehacker lots of people think that! It tends to be more deserty around the Gulf (Saudi, Bahrain, Qatar) but the closer to the West you get the greener the countries tend to be.

It was so much fun although poor Ben got ill, so he didn't get to see much more of Lebanon.

Same here, more or less. I know it occasionally snows in the Middle East/Maghreb countries, but I never pictured ski lifts!
