The american idol website states that they are singing songs for the 50's....that will be interesting...chris should probably stick to elvis
Ace looked shocked that he was in the bottom three, so did Lisa for that matter. I think Paris needs to spend a week in the bottom three... is it just me or does she have that "I'm great and I know it" attitude? I think she can sing, but she's sooooo irritating. I haven't really even heard of many people voting for her, on the Dale Jr board I visit, they like Chris & Elliot and Mandisa.

Ok, I love Chris, I think he's got crazy talent. I love Taylor too. I am one of those scant Kevin fans, lol. I feel so bad for him because his personality doesnt match his looks but his looks are all that people see. I'm sure he knows he's not really a sex symbol, he's just playing up to the jokes. But for the men, Chris and Taylor are my favorites... for the girls, I'm glad Melissa got the boot. I know not many people like Paris, but I love her!
Man, am i the only one that can't STAND Ace? For some reason he just ANNOYS me. Then again, i've never liked boys that were prettier than me. I totally love Taylor. His music tastes are very close to mine, and think he has a LOT of talent. I am also totally in love with Chris. I totally wish he wasn't married, as it's not fun to fantasize about married men, lol! I can't STAND Paris. She reminds me of fantasia, who was someone else i couldn't stand in the slightest. Now only if the rest of America would have had any sense, lol.

It was a great show.
When asked who he thought the top 3 would be this year...he said Kelly, Taylor and Chris.

Rumor has it Bucky is singing an Elvis song. Rumor also has it Chris is singing a 50's song that Pearl Jam did a remake of.....
I'm guessing that Chris is singing "Last Kiss" based on that info Karen....this oughta be GREAT!

After all the crowing by Simon about them singing "old" songs, why on Earth did they pick a 50's theme??? Is there anybody else that does not want to see this talented bunch singing songs that are 50 years old?????
I don't know who picks the themes, but it seems rediculous this year doesn't it? Last week Stevie Wonder after how many got railed on for taking on one of the "great" singers and not measuring up. This week, 50 year old songs when how many got nailed for singing songs too old for them. It puts them in a no-win situation and makes all but one or two look consistently bad.Originally Posted by sbw999
