I got better news ... I qualified for a small finacing which will enable me to pay for the needed work in increments..I can get the serious ones done soon and then pay it off and then get the other ones done.... the bad news is I NEED oral surgery for the wisdom teeth but not right away ( prays about a year so the others will be paid off... I need 1100 in dental not counting the wisdom but I can pay it over time .. 500 at a time ( 3 months no interest)

The other doctor was higher on all items and wouldnt budge on a payment plan( they went thru big banks that I didnt qualify for ) ...

New dr isnt as cheap as a local group but they have no finacing ( well they have something I need to call )...

Good to hear the news, you really need the work done and it was looking bad for a while. I'm glad you got the financing!!!

That's a good deal. I lost a quarter of one of my molars last week. The crown cost be 1000 bucks. That hurt worse than the tooth breaking.

Good for you. That must be a relief. Major dental is always going to cost a fortune it doesn't seem fair to me. But you have been needing this for a while so hopefully it will all go well. I am going back to have braces put on next month (at age 31 ugggg!) so we can be getting-teeth-fixed buddies together!!

I'm starting a root canal tomorrow. Even though I have insurance, it will still cost me an arm and a leg by the time I am done.

Wow! i am glad that i am not the only one with Dental woes. i was flossing my teeth yesterday afternoon and there is a dark spot on my front tooth right above the plastic part of my tooth( i chipped it at 12) i think it is a cavity! that means they will have to replace the cap and repair the cavity! OWEEE! but maybe i can get my teeth whitened at the same time... i have to wait 12 month for my dental insurance to takecare of it though because it is major work. that sucks!!

Oh the woes of dental work - glad I'm not alone. I've been putting off having my wisdom teeth extracted 'cos of insurance worries. Even with some coverage, it costs a fortune!
Good luck everyone getting their teeth fixed!
