The tiny little pet store somewhat near me recently began stocking EVO. Someone asked him to order it for them, & he jumped through all of the hoops required to be able to carry it. I was so excited when I saw the bag. I didn't know if Twitch & Lily would like it, so I bought a 2.2# bag for $5. They loved it! Too bad for me they don't want to eat wet food anymore.
I finally got them to eat wet 50/50 w/ dry & now they don't hardly want to touch it. This morning they ate one pouch of Nutro, but that's pretty much all they want. I don't mind they eating all EVO, at least Lily is getting to where she has some meat on her bones.
I went back to the pet store because I was running low on EVO & wanted to buy more. All he had were 15# bags for $34.88, so I bought it. The store owner drives to the Twin Cities himself to get EVO, that's a 3 hour drive from here. With gas & the miles he is putting on his vehicle, it was well worth it for me! I though that was dirt cheap! I bought Innova adult food from a bigger pet store in Mankato & it cost me $13.99 for a 6# bag. He said he could get it for me for close to $10. I was really excited to get EVO as they don't carry it anywhere in Mankato, only regular Innova adult food. I am thinking about asking him if he can get some canned Innova for me, too. I don't know if my kitties will like it & I would hate to stick him with a bunch of it if he can't sell it.

How much does EVO cost in you area? Are your kitties addicted to it? How hard is it for you to find it?

The 15 lb bag costs me $40 (with tax). I just found some canned innova today and I was so excited! Unfortunately, my cats were not very impressed. Then again, they are not very impressed with any wet food. But anytime I get near the kitchen, Meowser runs to the innova evo cabinet and starts scratching like crazy. It kind of worries me because I think he's kind of addicted. I'll feed him and he'll inhale it and start scratching at the cabinet for more. He can't be still hungry since I just fed him, but he's still scratching like he just can't get enough. It's a little disturbing, but I guess it's good that he likes it so much.

6# bag for $17.95 and my cats loved it, chowed down on it...and then had chronic diarrhea for the vast majority of the time they were on it. My friend who works at the Emergency vet for the north side said that she often gets calls about similar conditions in cats and dogs that eat evo, so just be on the lookout to make sure all is well!

Thanks for the heads up! So far I haven't seen any trouble with diarrhea, if anything the opposite. I have been noticing their stools are a little bit more solid than they were before.

I would've said that I am a quarter mile from the middle of nowhere & 10 miles from somewhere, but I didn't think it would fit in the title. Boondocks seemed more appropriate. Have you been to Mankato to look for EVO? I couldn't belive they don't seel any there. Can you get EVO where you are?

Oh yeah, I can get it here - I'm only 20 minutes from LaCrosse and 40 minutes from Rochester
I can get anything around here!
