Luna's visit to the vet

Luna went to the vet today. She has gained 2.25 pounds since we brought her home from the shelter. Her weight was 5 pounds, 12 ounces today.
Everything looked great. However, as I had suspected from her ear scratching and head shaking, she did have a case of ear mites. UGH! The vet found it necessary to show me these nasty creatures under his microscope. I already knew what they looked like, but figured I'd humor him. Now I'll have the creepy crawlies all night here!
Poor Luna! He gave her the drops right there to kill the little nasties.
Other than that, she was fine. Just thought I'd drop an update.

Isn't it nice to have good news from the vet?! My cat was a stray. To look at her today, you would never know it was the same cat. Amazing what a little love can do!

Sleep well....Luna's ear mites will be gone now.

Great news! At our clinic, no one likes to have to clean out ear mite ears! We get the "itchies" from just thinking about them crawling all over!
