Didn't see a thread today about this, just would like to take a minute to think about how this man effected the way we all live.

I am not saying you shouldnt I have just never heard of another country other than his home country having a day dedicated to him.

Oh, I know. That was a real question, not sarcasm or anything. I thought it was only a holiday in America, and since I guess it is in other countries too, I thought maybe he had visited other countries also. Which was kind of my question.

I think everyone at least here knows who he is, and think it's quite appropriate to celebrate the civil rights struggle in the US.

So we all thought our countries were the only ones who celebrated it! I need to get out more Lol. Well, Ryn is right: at least we all do know about it, so Happy Dr. Martin Luther King Day to all! We all share this day in remembering him.
