Cat uses little box but wet it's bed? help!!!

My new kitten uses the little box, however, this morning I found urnie in it's bed.

The kitty litter was only a metre away, if that, the kitten has used the kitty litter box untill now, so why has soiled his bed?

is this normal? do cats have "accidents" or could he be sick? he seems fine and healthy.

is there anything I need to do to help train him, (though he seems alright.) I have been putting him in the litter tray after meals and also through the day, and when he needs to go he does use the litter tray.

Has he been checked over by the vet?!

He might have an urinary tract infection... definitely talk to your vet to rule out this possibility first.

You might also do a search on the forum for this. Lots of members have given lots of advice on this subject and there might be something that can help you.

okay, thankyou for your help. He didn't do it last night, so I'm hoping it was a one off, but I will get him checked out for sure.

He hasn't been to the vets yeah, he is a feral/moggy cross I got from a friend, but he would have gone soon for all his shots.
