My cats teeth...

My Female cat Creep is estermated at 7 years old and some point this week could be having dentist treatment if I get paid on time. The R.S.P.C.A are giving me £40 towards bill, but I wanna know somethings.

1) What doe's the op invole?
2) How long does it take?
3) When the vets say about charging you extra for things what things do they mean?

These are all questions you should ask your vet up front as he/she is the only one that can tell you what their "extra" charges are and would probably be quite happy to explain what the operation involves, etc.

Ask your vet.

Just to give you a general idea of what I think:

1.) Are you getting the cat's teeth cleaned, or what? If it's a teeth cleaning, they put the cat under, and clean the teeth.

2.) Roughly 30 minutes or so if they are just cleaning. It depends on how bad the teeth are.

3.) If they have to pull any teeth they will charge extra, but they should call you before they decide to do anything. [That's what we do anyways].

Well when I went to get her spayed (tured out she already was) , they said some of her teeth were rotten and 2-3 might have to be pulled out. Then they said it would cost about £100.
I just wanted to know what the vets do while the cat is under... you know. Like some people like to know what there familys oparation involes.

I say ask your vet - tell him you want to know all that is involved.
