We had a 4 year old male neutered cat that had a blockage that occured on Tuesday of this past week. We took him to the vet where they put him on a cathider (sp) and told us he was doing better. He was released on Thursday ( one day Early) we were told that he could have this come back also were given clavamox and told to give him 3 ml per day. He seemed to be doing better than today when I went to give him his meds his mouth was all salivay. He took the fisrt droplet of it. When i went to give him the second he fought his head away rolled over and basically died. We do not know what happened. If it was a reaction to the meds or what. He was kept in a small room with one other cat that is 100% healthy. He did have a little drip from the area where the cathader was; but when I asked the vet they said this was fine...

i do not know if this is the right area but just have a question thanks is advance

I'm so sorry for your loss. Have you talked to the vet to find out if they can tell you what could have happened?

I am so sorry! Could have been the drug, or he was sicker than the vet thought. Hard to tell.
