I just did a thread in which we shared jobs we'd hate to do.
How about listing our DREAM job.

I am a teacher and I do love my job. But my dream job if I could have my time over again would be midwife.

On the west side of... of... somewhere.
I'm already working towards mine: professional writer. I'm still in the midst of a novel, which people seem to be psyched up about when I tell them tidbits of it. I'm also a photographer, but haven't gotten lucky enough to sell any of my work as of yet. But that would be my dream: writing fiction sucessfully and taking then selling my landscape photography. Then get a nice cabin in the woods and a condo in a nearby city and divide my time between the two. Do my writing and photography in the woods, then have the city for when I want more human contact.

My dream job is driving a fire truck (engineer). Unfortunately, they do not hire engineers directly. You must move up in the ranks from firefighter. At my current age, I cannot perform the job of professional firefighter such as hauling hoses, climbing ladders, running into burning buildings, etc. Would love to do it as a volunteer, but my city is an all professional force.

I must say.......I am 24 years old and have achieved working at my dream job. For security purposes all I will say is it involves one of the fastest growing professional sports in the US. I doubt I will do it forever because its HIGH stress, but I can always say been there done that.

I'd love to be a stockbroker or own my own business of some sort. Oh how I would love to work my own hours or just stop in to pick up the pay check.

I would like to be one of those animal cops, like on the Animal Planet shows. I always wanted to be a vet growing up, but then I came to the realization that I'm not good with blood and guts so operations would be out (pass-out!!) for me. But I would love to work with animals in some capacity.

They arrest the mean people who abuse animals and remove the animals from the situations. I like to investigate, plus I would be saving pets, but I would probably cry every day from the horrible things I saw
Have you ever watched the shows? They profile agencies all over the country- Detroit, NY, Miami, San Fransisco, some where in Texas, Houston maybe? and there's a new one starting this week from Phoenix. Great show!!
