Strange behavior at dinnertime

Hi all!

My kitty, Sandy, has been with us for almost a month now. Recently she's begun acting kinda strange around dinnertime, scratching around her bowl as thought she's in the litterbox! I don't quite know what to make of this. Have any of you experienced this before?

I've also made a thread about kitty dinner times, my cats are so fussy! and yes, when my kitty doesn't want to eat his food, he scrapes next to the bowl, like he would in his litter, it's very odd.

It's a common behavior for cats. They are "burying" the food for later. Just pick the food up and put it away so it won't spoil and then feed it again later.

LOL, one of my cats does this too. It is kinda puzzling when you never saw a cat do it before.
