Im just wondering what everyones wake-up routine is like...

Like do you use the alarm clock, or do you just wake up at the same time every day by instinct, or like, do you wake up happy with a good attitude and get right to whatever it is you have to do, or do you wake up and go back on the couch and wait untill you are fully awake to get things started.

I personally, use the alarm clock on weekdays(due to work), and then I get in the shower(which I have found sitting in the shower when I wake up feels great. lol), and get to it.
On weekends, I lay in bed untill I know I am happy enough to get my day started without grumpy swearing and bad moods.

I sleep through the alarm but once hubby says "Leah, it's time" that's when the moaning and groaning begins.

On the weekends my precious pups let me sleep in until at least 6:30.

I wake up at 7AM by my buzzing alarm clock and then my cell phone alarm goes off at 7:10AM and then I finally drag myself out of bed

My alarm is set for 7am (but the clock is fast so it's really 6:45am... I like to trick myself like that and it works sometimes!
). It's set on the radio and not very loud. The way I see it, if that doesn't wake me up, I need more sleep (I don't have any early morning class so sleeping in isn't a big problem). Usually I'm already half-awake by then, then I stay in bed for a little bit longer and listen to the radio until I feel energized enough to get up.

I haven't actually slept past my alarm clock once yet

When I have to work I always use an alarm. I get right up and immediately get dressed. I like to get the details of getting ready out of the way first so I can enjoy as much lounging time as possible up until I have to leave.

My cell phone is my alarm clock and my ritual consists of prayer, bible reading, sit-ups and getting dressed for the day and eating breakfast.

Weekdays: Alarm goes off and gets put on snooze, cats jump on bed and lick/rub/paw/ me and meow until I get up to turn snooze alarm off... sit in shower, get dressed, check emails while eating breakfast, run out the door probably 5 mins late cursing the fact i used the snooze button

Weekends I stay in bed until I feel like getting up or can't listen to magnum's whining anymore

My alarm clock is set 10 mintues fast, in the hopes that my sleep-groggy mind will look at the clock in the morning and think "Get up, you're late!" On a day I don't have pet sitting before work, it starts going off at 6:45, and I usually hit snooze three thousand or so times (at least 1500 times before I actually realize it's not 6:45 anymore, but rather 7:20 or soor so) before I finally look and see that I have slept too long and now have 20 mins to get ready. Then I lay there, too tired to get up yet, sadly marvelling how warm, soft and wonderfully cozy my bed is, and how cold the room is going to be when I leave the bed. Luckily for me, I shower at night because I come home with pet funk all over me and wouldn't want to sleep with that on me, so I don't have to do it in the morning, although it would probably wake me up faster. But that's what coffee is for. I'm SO not a morning person!
My days off, I sleep as late as I want, usually till 10 or so, usually waking up when one or more of the animals jump on the bed. My dogs are used to my sleeping late and stay sleeping usually as late as I do, the little sweeties!

On weekdays I get up at 5:00-5:15 when my Hubby gets up. (He sets his alarm and hits the snooze a few times, but I never hear it...I just get up when he sits up on the bed.)
I get right up and start coffee, make his breakfast and pack his lunch....and fish the mice and balls out from under the :censor::censor::censor::censor: and hutch for Toby and Tedy in between doing all these other things.(I love multi tasking....it makes me feel like I`m getting something accomplished!)
I`m pretty good natured in the mornings...but I try not to let it show too much, as Hubby is`nt a "morning person" and resents and is suspicious of anyone that`s too happy first thing in the morning.
On the weekend I sleep in till 6:30-7:30 at the latest.
I`ve never been one to sleep in late...on the rare occasion that i`m up all night for some reason and do sleep in really late it makes me feel like the day is half gone when I do get up...and I feel like i`m "missing something".

Because the job has gotten more stressful, I have been having trouble getting up in time to get to work. I finally put the alarm in the bathroom. It is harder to go back to sleep when I'm already in the bathroom. On the weekends, I always get to sleep in because the girls will get DH up (I can ignore them but he can't so they pester him).

Ok...my alarm is also set 10 minutes fast

Nature Sounds Alarm goes off at 6:00 (but it's really only 5:50
)

Alarm is reset for 6:45, but it's really only 6:35 I say to myself

Alarm is reset for 6:58, but I just don't want to get up I say! But I get up, open the door, trip over cats, spend about 15 minutes staring at myself in the mirror thoughtlessly, then I can get in the shower. At which point I am realllly running late so I'm boogyin it!

I get to work, have coffee and a bagle, mope, then about noon I wake up fully and become social.

I usually use at least 2 alarm clocks. The cats also start swarming around my head when the alarm goes off, which helps.

Most mornings I wake up when my hubby gets home at 7:30 Am from work, and he comes in the bedroom and kisses me, I Love him dearly but some mornings when I haven't gone to bed untill 1am I wish he would wait till I come down stairs, But i don't want to hurt his feelings, once I get woke up I'm done

I wake up quite early without benefit of a inanimate alarm clock. I have kittens and cats that will walk across my chest, and if I dare to continue to sleep the horses stand under the giant chimes and ring them or bang on the gate.

My clock radio is tuned to a local conservative talk radio station, and the alarm is set for 5:30 am. I usually lay in bed and listen to the show until 6:00 or so, then get up, make coffee, have breakfast, shower and dress, make lunch, leave in time to arrive at work by 8:00. If I have time, I'll take Peekaboo out for a pee before I leave.
