No, it's definitely not allowed. Report it to Ebay.

I once got them to take down a listing for a coat made from feral cat skin. Even though fur coats technically can be sold, I used the angle that a feral cat is the same animal as a pet cat and if this is allowed, there is nothing to stop someone from shooting his neighbor's cat and selling the skin on ebay. It was a stretch but it worked.

Maybe it depends on the country. I know it's illegal in Germany, so I wouldn't be surprised if that applied to the entire EU.

I heard of a zoo using ebay to sell a lion cub. I heard that on the news the other day and was surprised. I thought they wouldn't allow the sale of animals period?

Well they probably wont take it down until someone reports it. Ebay isn't like TCS, it's huge and 100's of new ads every few mins I assume.

The bottom of the listing click on Safety centre . Then click on report another problem, then listing violations and follow the menus. You need the item number from the top of the post

They're not supposed to, but there are so many thousands of listings that some slip through the cracks I guess.

It bothers me because a lot of the advertisements are for a cat (like you would actually buy the animal) but then you follow the link and it's actually cat related stuff... *whew*

Still...it's false advertising....
