If you will notice this is so inside cats can go outside safely. Not stay outside permanently. Many of our members could use this systems safely on their balconies and porches and in their backyards.

My husband and I built an enclosure off a window and it didnt really cost that much at all. Veeshan my youngest uses it the most. I think it was one of the best things Ive done for my cats.

Thank you so much for the site!! My husband and I are in the design phase of a cat enclosure for my cats from my bedroom window. I have printed almost all of hissy's pictures of her enclosure she did last spring that she built so that I could use it as a model for mine. I really love this idea though!!!

Cool... thank you. I'll keep this in mind for the day I have my own house. I really want to make an outdoor enclosure for my kitties.

Wow, they're great. I wonder if they've thought about selling overseas? I could see the "dens" for the balcony selling really well in Europe.

But for real, I want one(an enclosuer thing) so bad now. Those are so awesome! Some of those pictures look like it took a LONG time to make, but them kitties are so safe and sound now. YAY for enclosure things!

I have heard of people complaining that after they built these things for their cats. They always had problems with them trying to get outside. So they always had to be careful as to where the cat was when they entered our exited the house. Where as if they don't know what they are missing they wont try as hard to get out. My guys right now have never been outside, unless I have taken them too and from the car in their carrier. I donâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]t have a problem with them trying to get out. But now I know for certain that if I gave them that ability. They would be trying to get outside all the time. I donâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]t need that headache. Now I am in no way condemning those who want to do this. I just know I donâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]t care to.

That's exactly my worry. I've been thinking about taking my kitty out for strolls outside--but what if that's all he wants to do?

That IS quite a neat extention though! If I had the money, I'd consider it.

My experience has been that yes, they will continue to want out, but that they usually only try the door/window that they were orignally let outside from.

My cats go out back with me on nice days, we have a 6ft privacy fence around our patio.
The back door is the only door they try to get out.
They avoid the front door when it is open like it's some toothy tentacled monster.
