At this moment, Sasha is sitting on the highest landing of the cat condo, with his eyes closed....in kitty nirvana.... listening to.....OPERA.
He loves Opera! You'd think all that wailing around would unnerve him, but no. My favorite music is Cello music - so no real connection there that I can think of. Tell us about what your kitties listen to and is there a connection to your favorite tune??

That's a really interesting subject and cool that he has his own taste.
I've never really played enough music for Chasey to notice if she likes it. It's something I should explore more with her though.

My guys seem to like jazz the most, which I also happen to enjoy -- they don't seem to share my love of rock, especially really loud classic stuff like Zeppelin or The Doors.

My kitties love Nora Jones (and my DD's dog, Halley does too!!!!
)
They also like Jim Brickman, who plays piano and ballad-type songs. They like the quieter music, so if I put on Toby Keith and he's LOUDLY singing--
"WHO'S YOUR DADDY....WHO'S YOUR BABY....WHO'S YOUR BUDDYYYYYYYYY...WHO'S YOUR MAAAAAAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNN???"
My kitties BOTH get up and stalk out of the room!

That is something you should do! I think your compositions are very, very good. So will she - she can tell you her favorite. You'll see!

Thanks. I have a bad habit of playing with headphones on though. I'll have to change that.

I don't think my cats care one way or the other about music, but my Rainbow Bridge boy Snoopy, used to love hard driving heavy metal rock and roll

Well since I like only country music and that's really all my cats hear, it must be country music for them as well.

I know Sampson likes the vibrations when I play my stuff from Toby Keith because he gets up and will stretch his body over my long DVD speaker. I never really thought about it before but he might be trying to make it stop too.
