My Kyo chan recently had 4 babies, everything was normal, one of them was smaller than the other but he looked pretty normal and healthy until 2 days ago, he stopped fighting for his mama`s milk ._.
Now he barely eats and when we open the way for him to drink mama`s milk, he just stands there and falls asleep T_________T
We`ve been feeding him with the formula: he seems not to like it, and anything has changed .... we`re really afraid.... besides, we noticed that his tongue is bigger than it must be for his size.... it`s always out of his mouth, he`s always bitting it, is that normal?? Can anyone tell me how to help the baby >_<?!
Please help ToT
Thanks >o<!

a one week old kitten should be eating about every two hours. If the kitten is cold, this will make him lethargic and unable to eat. Holding him in a warming towel will help. Have you taken him to the vet to be looked at?

No, I don't think this is normal, at least from my experience with 3 litters of cats. It really does not sound normal either, anyways. I would say, get the kitty to the vet as soon as possible.

I'll bet some other people on the site are more knowledgeble on this and have some advice to offer, through experience, though. I'm not sure what it is, but I would bring my cat to the vet if I were in that situation. I do hope everything is alright.

This is not normal. A visit to the vet is required, immediately. Take him to the nearest 24 hour emergency hospital. They will be able to assess his condition and initiate any medical care they deem appropriate.
