We have never had a blue-eyed kitten before, so maybe I am just overreacting? But, Gizmo's eyes appear to be crossed!!! I notice it particularily when he is extremely wild and playful!

He is due for his shots anyways, so when I take him in I will ask. Any opinions?

Yeah, I would ask the vet. But I own and have seen several blue eyed cats and thier eyes look like any others, except they are blue(and very gorgeous at that!).

Is Gizmo by any chance Siamese or a Siamese mix? If so, this is a common trait that alot of Siamese have. My Wylie is a Siamese mix and he is cross eyed. I asked my vet about it, she said not to worry, he can see just fine. She was also the one that told me it was common for Siamese cats to be crossed eyed. It made me feel better though, knowing his site isn't affected by it.

I just looked at your picture of Gizmo and see that he is a Bengal, so guess my Siamese theory is out. He is very adorable though.

Well, I looked him closely in the eyes, and they appear to be normal. He just looks that way when he's extremely rambunctious (sp?) Other than that, he walks normal, etc.

My recent rescue is blue eyed, cross eyed. Maybe some Siamese but many shades of  brown with white underbelly. Sort of calico markings I think,  Pretty kitty. Fun and was so malnourished. Got her fattened up and she brings me lizards as gifts. I just spent lots of money for a fenced in back yard waiting to get a service dog as I am a senior disabled Veteran but the cat showed up at the door in a rain storm. No doubt a feral with a clipped left ear. about 8 months old. I fell in Love.

Thank you for this site, its helping me understand the kitty. I am looking for a name, half the face is very dark brown and half white. Phantom of the opera face....lol
