I'm the same. I believe black cats are good luck and Friday the 13th has always been a good day for me.

My favourite word is: sphygmomanometer. (I love it!)

We've always had luck with the number 13, but my mom says it's because of my gypsy blood (she's convinced that my dad's mum was of Gypsy lineage, but really her mom had?! so I've got it on both ends)

Whoa, that's weird.

I don't really believe superstitions, I think it's usually pure coincidence that bad things happen on that day because actually, the truth is bad things (and good things too ) happen every day, but since people are looking out for & expecting bad things to happen on that day, they notice a lot more than usual...

But still Friday the 13th, I do look out for 'bad luck', mostly because it's hard not to because just about everybody else is!

Let's hope it's a good day.

It's going to be Friday the 13th AND a full moon. When you work in an elementary school, that spells trouble.

And I hope tommorow is a good day considering it's my b-day and all.
But I try to look at like this, it's friday and most everybody likes friday and in most cases the #13 is considered a lucky number so why shouldn't it be a lucky day. And just for good measure, I pray to God for good fortune.

I never realized until reading this thread. I can't really recall anything bad happing on the fridays the 13th of the past. I just want to get through work in one piece before my weeeknd off XD

Well, i am superstitious about it, but nothing aver happens to me. Stuff happens to my friends all the time. Once, my sister's friend Ray was hit by a car(he's okay now) and my sister's other friend had a bus driver that had a heart attack and ran into a pole. In sixth grade my friend's backpack was stolen from right behind him..., and those are all my stories.

well its 10.30pm here on Friday the 13th and there is a full moon

Wouldnt you know I would wake up at around 12:05 am with a BAD stomach ache? and Was up and down ALL night!

Today is payday and THAT'S a good thing.

For the past two weeks, our systems have been crashing at work. Maybe today, they will crash so badly, that they'll shut us down and send us home (In my dreams!)

The number 13 has always been good for me. No fear of Friday 13th.

hahaha my kids are in a school program today they are having a HUGE birthday party for the school. it was 50 years ago today that their school opened its doors they had to wear 50's style clothing to school i have to go take pictures its gonna be nuts lol

It's just another day for me.
