Barbara McGrady from the Society for the Protection of Animals, Inc., in Fremont, Ohio, has contacted us for help finding a home for a special-needs kitten named Tutu.

Tutu is a beautiful Siamese mix girl who, at the age of nine weeks, was seriously injured when one of her littermates bit her on the back. Tutu must have sustained nerve damage in this incident, as she is now paralyzed in her hindquarters and back legs. Though she gets around like gangbusters - dragging her back legs behind her - Tutu is incontinent. She requires diapers and regular _expression of her bladder to prevent further problems.

Because of her young age (now 14 weeks), some of her caretakers have hope that Tutu will get better over time with appropriate rehabilitation, acupuncture, and care. Even if she does, Tutu is desperately in need of a family that understands and accepts her the way she is today.

If you know anyone who could help find TuTu a new home, please contact Barbara at 419-334-2773 or at [email protected] .
