Fwan, if you figure out how to get rid of bills, you've got to let me in on the secret!

Here's hoping the bills at least slow down, and get more reasonable, so you can buy new boots and can spoil Teufel and Kaylee

The cats house, we just pay the mortgage..
right you nasty companies stop sending these disgusting bills!!!!!!!!!

There you go! I know the feeling, it's my own doing and it's good to get it sorted and deal with it rather than pretend its not happening.
Id be mega annoyed though if it was a joint effort though and I was left to clear up the mess...
for you

Sending you good bill vibes!

I know how you feel. I've been on my own for 2 years now and it still sucks! The bills just keep on coming, especially now that its after Christmas, those credit card bills just keep on a comin'! Just when I think I'm caught up, more come in the mail!

Oh, I know what that's like. I got into quite a bit of trouble with spending when I was younder and I am really paying for it now. So, after I have taken care of all my bills, I am never going to get another credit card again and if I can't afford it, I'll just try to convince myself that I don't need it.

I have a friend who has never had a credit card in his life and still doesn't own one. He lives cheaply, but comfortably and he's always taking his family on these really awesome trips every year.

Oh I know the feeling...I had a grand day at the outlets with my Mother on Monday. I spent only $26 and some change on some awesome kitchen products, and then after grocery shopping tonight DH and I realize we spent wayyyy more than we thought this weekend. So I go and feel so guilty for getting kitchen stuff! He said it's more so because we just had a heating bill for over $400. I tell you that $400+ fill of propane better last a goooood looooong time!

Oh yeah, how annoying is it? Mostly I don't mind because I have a good standard of living and I think you need to pay for the things you use, but out of my monthly salary, which isn't too bad (although I'd like it to be higher...lol) I literally have about $200 left out of a few of thousand after I've paid off all of my expenses. It's tiring, that's for sure, and I never seem to get ahead.

Bills really suck. we payed last months mortgage REALLY late and now its late again! ugh. the late fee is only 40 bucks or so but when you add 40 to a big amount already it just seems worse!
But there is a guy who owes us money and he is goign to give us most of it this month before the 27th so that will be super good. we can get all caught up!

Movin' on up!
Part of being an adult is learning how to manage your money. Make a budget and stick to it.

After being married to a man who quit paying the bills, I had an awful time cleaning up my credit report. Four and a half years later, I'm buying a house, all on my own. In addition, I was able to buy a new car in 2004. I have ONE credit card and keep it paid off.

Fwan, get all of the bills together and contact the companies. Figure out how much money is coming in every month and how much you need for living expenses. Ask the companies what the minimum monthly payment is that they will accept. If there are debt counseling services, where you live, consult with one of them and follow their program.

all of my bills are managed, i already did a budget and that sort of thing.
I was stupid to have everything under my name instead of his, so now he has it all good and he doesnt even care about me (ben that is)
All of my debts will be clear by June (most are by march thank god), I have learned my lesson and im glad that i did now instead of in my later years, i know what to look for in a man if i decide to have a serious relationship with him.

Amen to that... My ex and I split up last year and everything was in my name, so I got stuck with the credit cards and we had a joint loan for a camper that I was attempting to pay, but that didn't work well, so he's "supposed" to be paying for it now, but the bank has been calling me lately so hmmmmm. My credit is destroyed already so I don't really care, but if i EVER get in a serious relationship with a man again (not real likely though) he must at least make as much as I do, if not more!

I feel your pain. I'm really bad at managing money, it just seems to slip through my fingers. Glad you're getting things sorted.
