Apparently Madden has decided that I'm bored and has took it upon himself to keep me busy!!

He has taught himself how to open every cabinet in the house!! It looks like we've got a poltergiest when you walk in the kitchen!! LOL This INCLUDES the top cabinets...even though he's not supposed to be on the counter in the first place.

He's also learned how to turn the shower OFF when I'm in it!! He obviously thinks its quite hillarious that he can push on that little nob in the middle of the faucet and make the shower go off!! It now takes me twice as long to take a shower in the mornings!!!

And then today, I'm on the computer and I hear the bathtub start running, and I'm the only one here!! I walk into the bathroom and there's Madden playing in the water (he LOVES water). I turn the faucet off and come back into the living room and five minutes later the faucet comes on again!!

Yet another annoying habit to add to the list...

I can't wait to see my water bill this month!!

that is so cute. my cats are also notorious cabinet explorers. I've had to start storing all my house cleaning supplies in the top cabinets above my stove (hopefully they'll never figure out a way to get up there!)

LOL

I've always kept all of my cleaning supplies in the laundry room, where children and pets are not allowed, but once I realized Madden could open all of the cabinets I've made a thourough sweep to make sure there was nothing in any of them that could hurt him!

The best he can do now is steal my extra dish spongies...which he does!!

I forgot to close my closet door one night and in the morning I found my dirty socks all over my living room! Now I just have to teach them to do the laundry.

Thats hillarious!!

Laundry would be a great trick.....I bet Madden would do it if he figured out the washer had water in it
but then I'd have to find a new place for my cleaning supplies!!

Boomer is also bad for turning on ALL the faucets int he house - I constantly come home to running water and have to make sure I take the sinkplugs out of his reach so he doesn't flood the place while I am gone. I switched to the turn knob type taps and it stopped him - for a while - now I have just given up.

Surprisingly he is the one that cries when bathed!

ok, this is the first time i've been glad my cats weren't as smart as some! i have child locks on all the lower cabinets, except one. that one currently has 2 boxes of books in front of it so Java can't get in & strew plastic grocery bags all over the kitchen...which she did twice while i had to stay at my parents' for 2 weeks. i need to replace that door lock, because the others are using the boxes as 'steps' to reach the counter!
