wondering is this is normal

hello all my cat is acting strange or to me it is. my catis 9 months old and i have another cat that is 4 months old but i dunno if my cat is in heat or not but i see my cat trying to ummmmmmm do something with this cat (both are males) is that normal cause he is in heat or i dunno. can anyone help me out there ???

Are both males neutered? If not, get them done.

Not all mounting is sexual - many times its a dominance thing. Who's on top?

BTW only FEMALES come into heat - not males

both are not "fix" and i didn't now wht to put at wht age can you get ur cat nuetred cuz i have a friend that told me at a certain age u can;t nuetred your cats

Some vets will neuter early but most all will neuter at 4 months onward. Its certainly a dominance thing going on if both cats are males. They are trying to create a hiearchy and it might continue even after they are neutered. My females do this as well.

i also wanna know if it is possible for a male cat to be gay and like other male cat???? i am not sure but as far as i had animals they are like humans

You can't really look at it the same way as humans. A cat that humps another male is doing it to show dominance over the other male. It is not because he prefers him, because most likely if there were a female he would not hesitate to go after her. A male might also show sexual frustration if without females. If it is sexual frustration this will be fixed with neutering the cat.

I had a neutered male that humped my stuffed animals. Cats, males in particular, are just wierd like that and when the testosterone builds up enough they want to do something about it. Over time it subsided.
