I was just opening a can of Innova cat food, and when I smelled it, my mouth started watering! I must be really hungry!
Seriously, it smelled good! Maybe on a cracker...
Kidding! That's gross, but man my cats are lucky! I read garlic in the label so they won't be getting it after this can...I only had 1 can so that's good at least...

Yeah that is kinda gross. But I have known people that eat much more disgusting things. I know a guy that will put a lb of raw ground beef in a bowl put lots of salt in it and spread it on crackers.

Hey, I eat that on rye bread with onions and salt and pepper...we call them "cannible sandwiches"...

LOL, and I didn't say I REALLY wanted to eat the cat food!
I just said it made my mouth water! I can add that to my book I made up..."You know you're fat when...." The first one was "when you know fast food restaraunts' phone numbers by heart." People really look at you funny when you know Golden Gyro's number by heart! Now I can add..."You know you're fat when your cats' canned food makes your mouth water!"

That is very...umm...weird.

But then again, I actually THINK that cat treats actually do smell very good!! Seriously! I would never try eating them though. I just think that most of them smell good. Don't ask.

Some of chewy treats smell good in a beef jerky kind of way. Plus wet food kinda smells like tuna fish, which usually isn't bad.

Actually I have never opened up a can of cat food, and havent thought "thank goodness I'm human". The stuff just smells funky. On the other hand, though it never made my mouth water, they make dog food in square chunks with a gravy with real peas...doesnt smell or look too bad, though I'm more than happy to dish it out just for my dog

Yeah, I've heard that all my life. I've eaten it since I was like 7 and I've never gotten sick, knock on wood. I'm not sure if you can build up a tolerance to it or not...I had food poisoning from other things like 3 times last year, so I think I have a sensitive stomach but for some reason I don't get sick from that.

Yes it can make you sick. You can get Salmonella, E. coli, Listeriosis, etc. You also highten your risk of getting Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy. Eating raw beef just isn't a good idea.

Yes, I know it can make me sick, and I do wonder about it a little when I'm scarfing it down.

I sometimes think our doggie's sausage smells pretty nice. Max thinks I'm gross but I think it smells good!!

Maybe we should become professional pet-food tasters!!
