Sadie had surgery on 1-2-06. She is fine but still must wear her e-collar for 3 more days.
It was really big, so I cut the end back about an inch. It is much easier for her now.
Do you like her fashion statement? I think that she looks like a little daisy.

Please post your e-collar pictures. I know that there are some really cute ones just waiting to be seen.

Sweet Sadie in all of her e-collar glory....

Linda...the expression on Nala's face says it all. "I hate this dump collar."

Loving my beautiful baby girl
Sadie, you're such a precious little girl! I just want to give you kisses!
Yes, Lei, she looks just like a beautiful flower!

Nala, what a sweet baby you are wishing your Mom would take off your collar! You need a big hug, don't you!

I've never had to have an e-collar on any of my 4 kitties, Your kitty is very cute though, even when sporting the e-collar

Little Pete and Shorty had to wear their e-collars for a few days after neutering and they HATED them. The first day they walked around backwards trying to "back-out" of them. They also did a little walking on their two back feet:

And they still attempted to wrestle:

And boy did wrestling with the collars tucker them out... they did LOTS of sleeping:

Poor kids....None of my cats had to wear e-collars. When you get your cats spayed, ask the vet to use skin glue on the outside instead of sutures or staples. We do that and there's less irritation so less biting and licking. They heal up great! Of course, you still have to limit activity if possible. Cute pictures, though!!

XoCats - Will do!! And she hates just having a normal collar on! She's really gonna hate an E collar!

Bikeman - Thats a cool collar, much more comfortable for the cat - At least they don't have the hard thing around their heads so they can sleep properly!

Had to wear it 14 days after her spaying.

Awww! I have never seen that type of e-collar before- Must be less irritating.
I think she looks awfully CUTE in it though.
