We have had Twitch for almost a year now and we got Lexi about 4 months ago from the Humane Society. We went through all the steps to bring them together and now they are best friends.
The problem is that Lexi gained a lot of weight fast and runs away from us all the time. We called the vet and they said to only feed them 2 times a day and give them each 1/2 cup. Since then, Lexi has lost weight and will now approach us to be petted, only when we are seated and she bolts if she thinks we are thinking about picking her up.
Does anyone have any suggestions? Does this sound normal?
