No, it's not a cat but my 5-year-old niece. My mom told me yesterday that Kaleigh (who loves cats) has started hissing at people when she's mad at them. Her parents are trying to discourage this behavior, but I can't help but think it's kind of cute.

Awwww that IS cute!! I'm sure she'll grow out of it (or get bored of it - one or the other!)

ACK!

Although I probably wouldn't have admitted it if you hadn't brought it up, my 4-year-old son does this!

That is so cute. I didn't something similar when I was a child. I always wanted to be a horse, so I used to whinny at people when they talked to me. I also used to use a scarf as a tail, and I'd gallop in the stores whinnying and neighing just like a horse, and when people would ask me my name, I would count it out using one of my feet, like a trained horse would do. Needless to say, my parents weren't thrilled with my behavior.

When I was really little I would run around the house on all fours! I never did it in stores, though, that's funny! (I would just make my family chase me through airports)
But the hissing is cute-no doubt better than throwing a fit..
Kind of what I would do to my ex's mother if I ever saw her again.
