Do you have a state employment agency in your area? You register with them, then you can go to one of their offices were jobs are posted on bulletin boards. You can do type test. And they can mail job listings to you.

I always look up the job listings on the state's website. Good luck finding a fulltime job soon.

Yeah, we must have one somewhere around here!

I need to get that info from welfare. I have to go down there anyway because they send me a form letter about something, and I can't read it. It's like a photocopy of a photocopy of a photocopy of a bad fax and it's not even centered on the page so I lost almost an inch of the lefthand side of the writing. Sloppy work. Anyway, they'll know where the employment office is.

I am also checking at schools, the colleges, hospitals. I am looking for info about taking the civil service exam too. I figure, I can work for less money now if it's a job I can keep for years and that gives me security.

I'm answering ads and all too. But so far, not even a call for an interview. I give myself until the end of this month, then I will be contacting temp agencies and taking even something part time, like mothers' hours at a store.
