Yesterday in Los Angeles, it was in the mid 80's, and today it's supposed to be a tad bit cooler than yesterday, but pretty much the same. Normal weather for this time of the year in LA is in the 70's. The worst weather we've had here was the day of the Rose Bowl Parade, where it poured down rain. It's winter here, by the way. I guess in a way, we have it made. Even in the summer, I even find the heat in the summer to be bearable, because we don't have that much humidity.

I've got to admit that I have turned on the heat during the cool nights. I don't like feeling cold.

That is a bit on the warm side
once you get above 30 it gets a bit uncomfortable.

We're having a very mild winter here in southern Minnesota, for the past few weeks the temps have been in the 20's and 30's, and the snow is MELTING!!!
Wooohooooooo!!!!!

Winter is my least favorite season, so I'm looking forward to some real warmth!

We've had record January (winter) highs the last several years, yet we have not had any triple digit temps in the summer in the same amount of time. It's as if the annual temp is evening out. It's suppose to be 67* and sunny! tomorrow
. Hmmm, wonder if I might convince myself to take my bike for a spin, let's see ... 67* at 60mph is a windchill of ... *mutter*mutter* carry the one ...* Hmmm ... 64* that's doable
!

We went to Perth a few years ago. The first thing that comes to mind when I think of Perth is blue sky. Perfect blue, not even the hint of a wisp of cloud, just blue, day after day. Every day was nice and hot and blue!
and they just flat refused to come further than the doorway.
In our cold snaps (-25 C) the cats refuse to go outside. They poke their heads round the door, have a look, then run back into the warm!

Sarah, my bags are packed and I am on my way!

Actually it may be a bit to hot for me too....it's been in the 30's and 40's here. I'm not complaining, it could be much colder!

I agree Ryan - we could use some of that heat right about now.

and it gets reallllllly hot! i can totally understand the heat! we don't have the humidity so it is a little more tolerable, but still is difficult. one does learn to wear flip flops everywhere and go to the local pool as often as possible.
