www.SaveSamoa.org was inspired right here at The Cat Site. It is dedicated to sharing other inspiring stories of animal rescue - from the most dire of circumstances, to picking up a dog or cat wandering on the side of the road, to simply opening the door and letting them inside. Every animal featured on Save Samoa has a better life in a loving home, and they are ALL happy endings! Many TCS cats are already featured!
Do you have a rescue story to inspire others? Would you like to make your kitty or dog famous?
Please, submit your story! Email it to heidi@savesamoa.org, and please include your first name and the state/province where you live. Photos are wonderful, but not necessary.
For those working in the trenches for companion animal welfare, www.StrayPetAdvocacy.org has resources you need! We host our original articles on Cat Predation, Socializing Feral Cats, and Declawing Information. In addition, Stray Pet Advocacy is a clearinghouse of links to pertinant articles on a wide variety of topics that affect companion animal welfare.
We are always on the lookout for more resources for Stray Pet Advocacy and Save Samoa (for individual rescuers). Please email any links you feel are pertinant that we don't have to heidi@savesamoa.org.
