I didn't notice one and someone had to start it, so . . .

It's raining here today, so I have not much light for doing stuff in the house and I might not be able to go out at all today. Here in D/FW the big problem with rain is flash flooding, so I tend to avoid the great outdoors if that's a possibility. But if it's just drizzly I might go putter at a bookstore or coffee shop or some such.

Sparky is laying next to me, dozing and purring, he loves to snuggle and snooze and be petted in his sleep. He is dreaming and twitching right now. Fred actually climbed up in my lap for about 10 minutes this morning to be petted. He layed down on my legs, too, not the usual standing on his tip toes looking like he was going to flee at the first opportunity.

I love my tivo today. One of the movie channels is having a free preview weekend. They are showing only one movie I wanted to see, Bridget Jones' Diary, but it on during the wee small hours of the morning. So I just told the tivo to get it for me, and this morning there it was! Something to look forward to later.

Good morning to you! That movie is good, I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

Not much going on here, hubby went to town with the kids, and is bringing home lunch after he gets his hair cut, and I am shopping for some baby stuff on e-bay.

It's such a nice day out, too bad I feel like crap. I took a nice long walk though and that helped clear my sinuses but now my energy is zapped.

I feel like taking a nap but it's so nice out I'd hate to waste the day by sleeping. Maybe a cup of tea will help.

I wonder what it is this time of year and catching colds?

Hello everyone. Happy Saturday to you all.

Not a heck of a lot going on around here. Kids are playing, hubby is going to work shortly, and I am just lounging around. I should be tackling some project but I am feeling a bit "blah" today and don't feel like doing much at all. I think I'm gonna just chill out and enjoy a Saturday to myself!!!!

The sun is shining in PA today after a pretty snowfall yesterday. Mother Nature is having a nervous breakdown, I think. You know the song-"April's full of promises, but it doesn't even keep a single one, and a crowd of doubting Thomases are predicting that the summer never comes.."

I look forward to Saturdays because my granddaughters come for their piano lessons. It's a joy to know that I have something to offer them besides hugs, kisses, and cookies. My daughter usually spends the time trying to get my computer to cooperate with whatever new program I have. It is suffering from a memory problem; either that, or I want too much! I hope you all have a great weekend!

It's nice out today in CO. Supposed to be near 70. Unfortunately I get to spend the day on the computer trying to make up time from work. I was out sick on Friday (got the flu that my co-worker had - nasty little bug!) and don't have sick time for another month. Timing is everything. The kitties have been extra lovey since they know I am sick. Ophelia is our little nurse - she won't leave you until she thinks you are well enough. Such a sweet little girl!

Hope everyone has a great Saturday!

Isn't it funny how, when we are sick, we worry about our kittens? I spent such a long time in the hospital, and I know my babies would not come out for anyone except me, so I kept asking about their food, water, and litter box. My dear husband (we are estranged) came twice a day and took care of them and the dog. But he never saw them. The first night I came home everyone in the family was here, so I never saw them, and began to think they were dead. After the kids left, I was frightened to be left alone because the pneumonia had almost killed me, so I lay on the couch unable to go to sleep. Then quietly both of my babies came out from their hiding places at about 2 a.m. I had called them so often!! No one was ever happier. I was also able to sleep!

I have been very busy! I got up and did water aerobics, then went tanning, then went to target to pick up baby gifts for my sister in law and best friend, who are both expecting, then to the grocery store for fresh fruit and veggies. Since we've been eating healthier I have to go to the grocery store 2 or 3 times a week for produce. Then I came home and did laundry. I think I'm going to relax now!

Hope everyone has a great day!
